Services will be 10 AM Thursday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Ruby E. Bell, 91, of Austintown who passed away Sunday morning in Hospice House. Ruby was born May 30, 1918 in Brookville, PA., the daughter of Leroy and Marie (Carberry) Case and came to the area in 1940. She was a homemaker, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. Ruby was a member of Wedgewood Park Evangelical Congregational Church where she was very active. Her first husband, Lloyd Homer Means, whom she married October 1, 1936, passed away in 1964. Her second husband, William H. Bell, whom she married July 8, 1968, passed away April 23, 2002. Ruby leaves two daughter, Cora Mae Starkey, Gail Marie Klein both of Austintown, one son; Larry Carl Means of Austintown, three step children; William C. Bell of Austintown, David A. Bell of Canfield, And Janice Cubbison of Cincinnati, one sister; Lucille Ann Thursh of Youngstown, four brothers; Leonard H. Case of FL, Gerald L. Case of Austintown, Max L. Case of Girard, and Harvey L. Case of Brookville, PA., 19 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Besides her parents and husbands, Ruby is preceded in death by one daughter Connie Joy Hansen and one sister; Vivian Snyder. Family and friends may call from 5 to 7 PM Wednesday and from 9 to 10 AM Thursday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel. Donations can be made to the church in Ruby’s name.
