Russell A. Price

Russell Andrew Price, age 87, of Howland, died Wednesday, December 29, 2010, at Shepherd of the Valley in Niles. He was born on June 25, 1923, in Curwensville, PA, a son of the late Fred Price and the late Dorothy Decker Price. Russell was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served during WWII and had worked as a Foreman at Republic Steel Corp. in Warren. His wife, Margaret D. Vesey Price, preceded him in death. He is survived by 2 sons, Keith Price of Howland and Thomas Price of Chipley, FL, a daughter, Nancy Oaks of Madison, sister, Jean Williams of Hyde, PA and by 4 grandchildren. Russell was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack and Don Price. A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, December 31, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the Howland Twp. Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Shafer-Winans Funeral Chapel in Cortland.
