Ruth Ann Newfield

Ruth Ann Newfield, age 88 of Gallatin, TN, formerly of Warren, Ohio, died on August 24, 2014 at 8:33 AM in the Hendersonville Medical Center in Tennessee. She was born on March 3, 1926 in Corry, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Dudley Kellogg and Mayme Stuard Kellogg. Ruth Ann was a homemaker. She loved to crochet and read, and she was an outstanding cook. She and her husband, Duane Newfield, married on November 30, 1974 and approximately twenty years ago, they moved from Warren to Tennessee. Other than her husband, others that survive are her children, Thomas Michael (Jan) Page of Gallatin, TN, Timothy Ward Page of Niles, OH, and Terrence Leland (Linda) Page of Seattle, WA; eight grandchildren, Michelle (Alex) Chunchukov, Michael Thomas Page, Elizabeth Anne Roland, Kathryn (William Ullery) Edwards, Erin Harlan, Erin Marie Page, Sarah (Kyle) Klein, Elizabeth (Alex) Givan. Other than her parents, Ruth Ann was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters, including the Honorable Judge John Stuard. Funeral services will be held at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Madasz Chapel in Brookfield at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 28, 2014 where Celebrant Randi Pappa will celebrate Ruth Ann's life. Family and friends may also visit one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
