RUTH ELIZABETH SCARDINA, 92 AUSTINTOWN-There will be Services at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lane Family Funeral Homes-Austintown Chapel for Ruth Elizabeth Scardina, 92 who died Monday afternoon at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center. Ruth was born July 11, 1922 in Mineral Ridge, the daughter of Grant and Sarah Elliot Kincaid. She was a Cafeteria Manager at the Frank Ohl Middle School in Austintown, retiring in 1984. Ruth was a graduate of Austintown Fitch High School. During a span of sixteen years, Ruth had fostered 78 infants. She was a former member of Four Mile Run Church and was known for her numerous and beautiful plants. Ruth was first married to Charles B. Hunter and then Samuel Scardina, both of whom are deceased. Ruth is survived by her son, Charles B. (Linda) Hunter of Austintown; her grandchildren, Pam (Kevin) Stoklosa and Charles B. Hunter and her gr. Grandson, Brayden Stoklosa. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Seabrook and her brothers, Ralph and Robert Kincaid. Friends may call from 10-11 a.m. prior to the Service on Saturday.
