Ruth F. Miskell

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Ruth F. Miskell of Austintown who passed away on Wednesday at Briarfield Manor care center. Ruth was born November 28, 1915 in Youngstown, the daughter of John D. and Elizabeth (Clark) Megown. She was an Auditor at Home Savings and Loan for many years and was a member of the International Association of Administrative Professionals. A member of the Mahoning Methodist Church, Ruth also worked with the Easter Seals Society. Mrs. Miskell leaves a son, Raymond P. Miskell of Austintown and a sister, Ida Jean Megown of Youngstown. Her husband, Phares Miskell, whom she married in 1942 passed away in 1982. She was also preceded in death by two brothers: William and Charles Megown, and a sister Dorothy Ebersbacher. Friends and family may call from 5-8 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
