RUTH GRACE CARSON Ruth G. Carson of Sharon, PA. Formerly of Brookfield, OH and Hermitage, PA, died at 3:35 PM Wednesday (4-20-05) at Sharon Regional Hospital. She was 90. Mrs. Carson was born in Franklin, PA on Sept. 17, 1914, a daughter of Joseph and May Grace Kline. She worked for Westinghouse Electric for 12 years as a Coil Winder. Later in life she was self employed as a seamstress. Her husband, Earl James Carson, whom she married, March 5, 1951, died July 13, 1980. Survivors include: 1 daughter, Grace Matsko of West Middlesex, PA; 2 step-daughters, Margaret Zahniser of Stoneboro, PA and Bonnie Burkett of Franklin, PA; 1 brother, Joseph Kline of Rocky Grove, PA; 3 sisters, Marjorie Bickel, Franklin, PA, Lenora Thomas of Franklin, PA, and Edith Kinney of Burleson, TX.; 3 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; also step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her parents; 1 brother, Austin Kline; 1 sister, Geraldine Haylett; 2 step-sons James and Ronald Carson; 1 step-daughter, Carol Carson. Private Family Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at the Madasz Funeral Chapel, Brookfield, with Rev. Jerry Herron. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be in Brookfield Twp.
