Ruth Gretsinger

Ruth Gretsinger, 84, of Austintown, passed away, Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at Austinwoods Nursing home. She was born May 8, 1929, in Harrisville, OH the daughter of William and Anna Wolfe. Ruth was a devoted homemaker and mother. She enjoyed gardening, crafts, sewing, cooking and was the past president of the VFW Post 9571 women's Auxiliary. She will be dearly missed by her son John Egner, of Boardman, daughter Donna Egner, of FL, six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and many grandchildren from the Gretsinger family. Besides her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her first husband John F. Egner, second husband Kenneth Gretsinger, brothers; William, Ted and Dick, sisters; Catherine and Cleon daughter-in-law, Deborah Egner. Funeral services will be held 11:00am, Monday, July 29, 2013 at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel. Friends and Family will be received from 10:00am until the time of the service. Entombment will be at Green Haven Memorial Park.
