Ruth Harris

Services will be at 10:30 Tuuesday at St. Michael Roman Catholic Church for Ruth Harris, age 75, who died on Friday at St. Elizabeths Hospital. Mrs. Harris was born on January 3, 1927 in Youngstown, Ohio, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Ellen Murphy Saunders. She was a secretary for Harris Painting Comany for 28 years and was a member of St. Michaael Church and the Buicks of Yesterday Club. She is survived by her husband, Bill Harris, who she married on June 12, 1948, a son, Dr. Martin and Terry Harris of of Cumberland RI., a daughter Phylis and Rich Kovach of Ellsworth, Ohio; 3 sisters; Mary Kay Cornelius and Florence Gerak of Youngstown and Carol Potts of Champion, Ohio and one brother Jack Saunders of St.Paul MN and 6 grandchildren; Michael, Heidi, Lauren, Mathew, Brittany Haris and Michelle Gamertsfelder and one great grandaughter Kaylan Gamertsfelder. She was preceded in death by one son, Tim Harris and one brother Joseph Saunders. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday at the Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel.
