Ruth I Morris

Ruth I. Morris, 78, of Howland Twp passed away peacefully at 11:10 AM Wednesday Sept.16, 2009 at her home following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born April 15, 1931 in Salineville, OH the daughter of Walter and Thelma (Craver) Wilson. A lifetime area resident she attended Warren schools and she worked as a receptionist for Dr. James Tavolario for 20 years retiring in 1997. Ruth was a devoted homemaker and loved to cook. She was known for her special French toast. She also was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves. She will be sadly missed by her husband of 55 years Dan "Duke" Morris whom she married Sept.3, 1954, daughters Danette D. Werner of Howland, Tammy L.(Michael) Culler of Champion, and 3 grandchildren Lindsey Werner of Howland, Brooke and Daniel Culler of Champion. She was preceded in death by a sister Clara Wilson and a son-in-law Robert Werner. The family will receive friends at Roberts-Clark Chapel Saturday Sept.19, 2009 from 1:00-3:00 PM. Cremation will follow.
