Ruth K Zolnier

Liberty Ruth K. Zolnier, 87, formerly of Hermitage, PA passed away Tuesday morning, April 14, 2015 at Liberty Health Care Center Ruth was born in Masury, OH on August 3, 1927, a daughter of George Krayniak and Susan (Kucera) Krayniak. She was a 1945 graduate of Brookfield High School and then graduated from Penn State University with an Associate's Degree in Arts, Letters, and Sciences. In her free time she enjoyed writing. Ruth will be deeply missed by her two sons Jon (Kim) Zolnier of Girard and Joel (Cory) Zolnier of Maryland, two grandchildren Andrew and Anthony Zolnier, and her sister Mildred Krievak of South Pymatuning, PA. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Andrew J. Zolnier whom she married in April of 1951, and who passed away on August 12, 1991, her brother George Krayniak, and her four sisters, Helen Goncz, Margaret Wielbruda Hnida, Susan Brooks, and Pauline Rokita. Funeral services for Ruth will be held on Friday April 17, 2015 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Hermitage at 11:00AM, officiated by Pastor Gary Nelson. Friends and family may call from 5-8:00PM on Thursday April 16, 2015 at Lane Family Funeral Homes Madasz Chapel located at 6923 Warren-Sharon Road Brookfield, OH 44403. Interment will take place at St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Hermitage where she will be laid to rest next to her husband.
