Ruth M. Proverbs

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM at the Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel for Ruth Margaret Proverbs of Canfield who passed away on Friday at Meridian Arms Care Center. Ruth was born November 6, 1912 in Youngstown, the daughter of Ab C. and Katherine (Featsent) Parry. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Proverbs leaves a son Jack A. (Judy) Proverbs of Canfield and a brother Ab Parry of Warsaw, Indiana. She also leaves two grandchildren: Tim and Lisa, as well as four great-grandchildren. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband John T. Proverbs, whom she married October 7, 1933 and passed away on June 23, 1993. A brother Thomas Parry also preceded her in death. Friends and family may call from 10 to 11 AM on Monday, one hour prior to the services in the funeral home. Interment will be at Green Haven Memorial Gardens in Canfield.
