Ruth M. Simons Stickle

Ruth M. Stickle, 79 died at her home on July 10, 2004 after a valiant battle with cancer. She was born Ruth Kelly on May 29, 1925 and lived her entire life in Youngstown, OH. Ruth was preceded in death by her first husband, Howard Simons, Sr. whom she married in 1947, as well as her sister and seven brothers. She is survived by her husband, George Stickle whom she married in 1992; her daughters, Karen Brett and Paulette Simons; her son Howard Simons, Jr. her step daughters Cindy Fornash, Maryann Snyder, Sue Webster and Rebecca Stickle; her stepsons Patrick, Chris, George and Kevin; 22 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Ruth was a member of St. James Catholic Church in North Jackson, OH and Ladies Auxiliary of Fraternal Order of Eagles. Private services were held Tuesday, July 15 2004 at St. James Catholic Church . The family requests memorial contributions be directed to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market St., Boardman, OH 44512. Arrangements are being handled by Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel.
