Ryan Matthew Merana, 32, a lifelong Warren resident, passed away October 28, 2014 in Cleveland after a sudden illness surrounded by family and visited by many friends. Ryan was born August 16, 1982 in Warren. He was a 2000 graduate of JFK High School in Warren, and then attended Y.S.U. and Kent State. He worked at an automotive parts company as a salesman. He enjoyed Magic cards, video games and fishing. He is survived by his parents, Linda (Iwanicki) and Lloyd Nolan; brother Zachary (Nikki) Merana of Cincinnati; niece and nephew, Bailey and Alex Merana; Uncles and Aunts, Bill (Karen) Iwanicki, David (Barb) Nolan, Art Nolan, Sharon (Lonnie) Azecusky, John, Dolly, and Paul Merana, cousins Todd and Jeff Iwanicki and a host of other relatives. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bill and Jennie Iwanicki, father Lawrence Merana and family Grace and Tom Allison The family will receive friends from 2-4 PM Saturday November 1, 2014 at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts-Clark Chapel in Warren. A memorial service will follow at 4 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Ryan's family to help defray expenses.
