Samuel L. Crawford

Samuel L. “Roy” Crawford of Niles, OH, died at 6:33 PM Sunday at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. He was 83. Mr. Crawford was born in Kaylor, PA on Apr. 27, 1922, a son of Gill and Jesse Lopp Crawford. Roy was a partner and co-owner of Crawford & Delo Corp for many years. He was a member of the American Civil War Association. Survivors include: 1 brother, Walter C. (Wanda) Crawford of Howland, OH; 1 sister, Glenna O. Edwards of Niles, OH; 2 nephews, Jonathan (Janet) Edwards of Warren, OH and Walter (Brenda) Edwards of Niles, OH; Very close friends David and Lou Marie Shearer of Franklin, PA; also survived by many other nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. He was preceded in death by: his parents; 1 brother, John Crawford; and his long time companion and business partner John Delo.
