Sara Ellen Hawkins

SALEM- Sara Ellen (Jones) Hawkins, 83, passed away peacefully at her home on November 27, 2013. She was born in Warren, OH on March 26, 1930 to the late Sherwood and Lida Jones. Sara enjoyed doing word searches and puzzles and she also spent a lot of time working on her latch hook crafts. Sara will also be remembered for her extensive owl collection. Left to mourn Sara's passing are her two sons, Scott (Serena) Hawkins of Salem and Brian K. Hawkins of Lake Milton; and her sisters, Arveda Whetstone of Mineral Ridge, Gail Daus of Girard, and Jean Knable of Austintown. Sara is preceded in death by her parents, Sherwood and Lida (Wibert) Jones; her brother, Francis M. Jones; and her sisters, Mary E. Zupp and Roberta Elias.
