Sarah M. Harmon

There will be funeral services 11 AM Friday at Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Sarah M. Harmon of Petersburg who passed away at her residence Tuesday morning. Sarah was born November 24, 1923 in Youngstown a daughter of Roy and Sarah (Guy) Harrington. She was a former member of the Wedgewood Park Evangelical Church, Member of The American Legion, a graduate of East High School, and enjoyed sewing. Sarah was a United States Navy Veteran W.A.C. serving in WWII. She is survived by three children: JoAnn Fanton of Salineville, OH, Jean Grbinick of Youngstown, and James W. Harmon of Hubbard; nine grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband James S. Harmon whom she married May 24, 1947 and passed away February 26, 1993. one sister Hazel Titler and one great grandson.
