Shirley A. Bowser

Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Friday at the Lane Family Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Shirley A. Bowser, 72, of Austintown who passed away Friday April 15 at Hospice House. Shirley was born April 4, 1944 in Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late George and Isabel Summerville. She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Shirley was a Methodist by faith. She enjoyed word puzzles and watching her favorite television shows, but most of all Shirley loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and her dog Gabbie. She leaves to cherish her memory three children, Jerry Bowser, Lori Bowser and her fianc Andy Oliva, and Jeff Bowser and his wife Lisa, two grandchildren, Ben and Erika Bowser all of Austintown, two brothers, Larry (Carman) Summerville of New York, and Randy (Sue) Summerville of Austintown, and one sister Linda (Gary) Craig of New Bethlehem PA., as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Bowser, whom she married December 2, 1960. Larry passed away September 15, 2008. She was also preceded in death by two nephews, Randy Summerville and Brent Craig, and one great niece Brittney Gulu Summerville. Friends may call from 5 to 7 PM Thursday at the Lane Family Funeral Home Austintown Chapel where services will be held at 10 AM on Friday.
