Shirley E. Komsa

Shirley E Komsa, 84 Canfield: Shirley E Komsa passed away Saturday evening at St Elizabeth's Medical Center Boardman. Shirley was born July 25, 1930 in Youngstown a daughter of the late Robert and Catherine (Maloney) Patterson. She was a graduate of East High School, and worked as an operator and later as a repair clerk for the former Ohio Bell Company from 1951 to 1982. She enjoyed roller skating and loved to line dance. She was an avid Cleveland browns fan. Shirley will be sadly missed by her daughter Michele (Michael) Deliso of Youngstown Oh, her son Michael (Cindy) Komsa of Canton, MI a brother, Robert Patterson, a granddaughter Rebecca (Jeff) Apel and a great grandson Noah Apel. Beside his parents Shirley was preceded in death by her husband the former Henry R Komsa, whom she married on September 30, 1950, who died on December 1, 2008, her sister Dolores D'Alesio and her brothers John and Kenneth Patterson.
