Shirley M. (Feisley) Craig, 78 Canfield: Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Canfield Presbyterian Church, 140 West Main Street, Canfield for Shirley M. Craig, 78 of Canfield who died Monday evening at St. Elizabeth Health Center. Shirley was born May 21, 1935 in Ellsworth, a daughter of the late Ralph Feisley and Pearl Manchester Feisley Diehl. She graduated from Canfield High School in 1953 and went to Washington, DC to work as an office secretary at the Navy Annex of the Pentagon. She also was a secretary for the Mahoning County Soil and Water Conservation District and the USDA Soil Conservation Service, Crossroads RC & D Project Office. Shirley was a life time member of the Canfield Presbyterian Church; a member of the Mahoning County Chapter of DAR; the Colonial Dames, life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #9571 Ladies Auxilliary and the Mahoning County Council where she had served as president; Veterans of Foreign War National Home life member; the American Legion Auxilliary Unit #177 of Canfield and the Department of Ohio Ladies Auxilliary Past President Auxilliary. Shirley enjoyed camping, card making, crafts and the 500 card club she belonged to for many years. She was also a member of the Salem Scampers and the Carnation Campers Camping Club. She leaves her husband, John N. Craig whom she married May 22, 1954 in Canfield Presbyterian Church; her daughter, Cindy (Ken) Kaschak of Canfield, her son, Scott (Cindy) Craig of Uniontown, Ohio; grandchildren, Jeffery (Brooke) Kaschak of Mineral Ridge, Jessica (Chad) McDaniel of Columbus and Benjamin Craig of Houston, Texas. Besides her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by two brothers, William A. Feisley and James L. Feisley. Friends may call on Friday, October 11th from 4-7 p.m at Canfield Presbyterian Church and on Saturday for one hour prior to the services at the church. The family requests material tributes take the form of contributions to the Choir Memorial Fund at Canfield Presbyterian Church.
