Stephen Michael Moore

AUSTINOWN-Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30AM Wednesday, November 23, 2005 in St. James Catholic Church in North Jackson with the Rev. David Merzweiler officiating for Stephen Michael Moore of Austintown who departed this life too soon from us on Sunday, November 20, 2005. Stephen was 23. Stephen was born on June 16, 1982 in East Liverpool, Ohio and was the only son of Michael S. Moore and Cynthia M. Miller and was raised in Austintown, Ohio. Stephen was a 2000 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School. He was an accomplished musician with a passion for guitar and drums. Stephen was an avid sports fan and participated in organized baseball, bowling, and golf teams. Stephen also was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and NASCAR fan. Stephen greatly enjoyed his new motorcycle. Stephen was employed for the last three years with R&L Carriers in Columbiana where he most recently was promoted to controller. Stephen was of the Catholic faith and attended St. James Catholic Church in North Jackson. He will forever be remembered for his endearing smile, quick wit and love of his family. Stephen will be sadly missed by his father and stepmother Michael S. (Darla) Moore of East Liverpool; his mother Cynthia M. Miller of North Jackson; his siblings Amanda Miller of North Jackson, Tim Moore of East Liverpool and Brandi Moore of East Liverpool; his maternal grandparents Hazel West of East Liverpool, and William West of Port St. Lucie, Fl; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Stephen was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Laura Moore, an uncle Randy Moore and a cousin Emily West. Stephen’s unexplainable joy, good heart and his love of life will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 PM Tuesday, November 22, 2005 in the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel, where closing prayers will be recited at 8:50 AM Wednesday prior to leaving for church. Stephen will be laid to rest in Resurrection Cemetery in Austintown. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in Stephen’s memory to United Way of Mahoning Valley, 255 Watt St. Youngstown, Ohio 44505 or to the Tods Childrens Hospital 500 Gypsy Lane, Youngstown, Ohio 44504.
