Steve R Kaliney

STEVE R. KALINEY, 81 CANFIELD-Steve R. Kaliney, 81, died Thursday morning at Hospice House. He was born January 28, 1933 in Farrell, PA, a son of Stephen C. and Mary A. Horvat Kaliney. Steve was a Industrial Arts and Woodworking teacher with the Liberty School System for 30 years, retiring in July of 1986. Steve honorably served his country as a member of the U.S. Army during the Korean War, from 1953 to 1955. Steve was a Master woodworker. He was an excellent golfer and enjoyed his time spent with the Millcreek Park Golf League. Steve is survived by his wife of 38 years, Jean DiThomas, whom he married December 25, 1977. Besides his parents, Steve was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Ann Mikulski and his brother, Robert P. Kaliney. According to Steve's wishes, there will be no calling hours or Service.
