Susan Dorothy Cora

Austintown-There will be a mass of Christian Burial held on Tuesday June 24, 2008, at 10AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Youngstown for Susan D. Cora, 81, who passed away Friday, June 20, 2008 at Austinwoods Nursing Home. Susan was born Feb. 18, 1927 in Lowellville, OH the daughter of the late John and Mary Albanese Guerrieri. She married Robert J. Cora, May 22, 1948. He passed away on Sept. 23, 1993. Mrs. Cora was a baby sitter at the YMCA and she baby sat for many family members through out the years. She enjoyed cooking, and most of all, her grandchildren. Susan is survived by, 4 children, Roberta Whippo of Youngstown, OH, Joseph Cora of Boardman, OH, Susanne and her husband Harvey Miller of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Lori and her husband Mark Ramsey of Poland, OH; 13 grandchildren, Danielle and Gina DeGeorge, Erika, Joseph Jr., Robert Cora, and Adrienne Castle, Mark Jr. Ashley, and Matthew Ramsey, Merrill Jr. Jim, Candace, and Samantha Whippo; 6 great grandchildren; She will also be sadly missed by her roommate Dottie. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 5 brothers; 4 sisters; 2 son-in-laws, Eugene DeGeorge and Butch Whippo. Calling hours will be on Monday, June 23, 2008 from 5 to 8 PM at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel. Closing prayers will be held at 9:15 AM at the funeral home Tuesday morning.
