Susan M. Bee

Susan M. Bee of Masury, OH passed away Sunday morning September 14, 2014 at O'Brien Memorial Care Center following a brief illness. She was eighty-five years old. Susan was born July 13, 1929 in Sykesville, PA the daughter of Michael and Anna (Martinik) Farkas Sr.. She married her sweetheart Harry E. Bee on September 22, 1947, and would go on to share with him over thirty years of marriage and their two children Ed and Janet. Mrs. Bee had worked as a bus aid for T.C.A.P. Headstart Program and also at several area department stores but spent the majority of her time being a devoted mother and homemaker to her family. Susan had also enjoyed bowling in several leagues and playing bingo. She leaves behind her son Ed Bee and his wife Susan of Hubbard Twp., OH; her daughter Janet Diegan and her husband Jack of Hubbard; five grandchildren Stacey, Kimberly, Kelley, Ryan, and Brenda; and six great-grandchildren Cody, Carly, Susanna, Carmella, Cameron, and Cora. Mrs. Bee was preceded in death by her husband Harry E. Bee on January 28, 1979, her parents two brothers William Farkas and Michael Farkas Jr., and by her sister Margaret Garrett. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00AM on Wednesday September 17, 2014 at St. Thomas the Apostle (St. Bernadette Church) in Masury, OH with the Very Rev. Frank Zanni V.F. as Pastor. Friends may call at the church beginning at 9:00AM prior to the start of the Mass. Burial will take place next to her husband at the Brookfield Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Susan's Honor.
