Susan then attended Kent State University and later graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in finance. She was also involved as the scorekeeper and Team Mom for her daughters softball teams. She was a constant motivating force for her daughter and her teammates, especially during Valley Extreme Reds 2007 PONY National Title, and John F. Kennedys 2008 Regional Championship and State final four appearance. Susan is survived by her husband, Atty. John (Jack) Pico; her daughter, Rachel Pico; her mother, Delores Satow of East Liverpool (her father Raymond Satow is deceased); her sisters, Amy (Tom) Scheehle and Barbara Imes; her mother-in-law, Nancy (Elaine) Rankin; and 12 nieces and nephews.
