Teresa Diane Mitchell

Teresa Diane Mitchell of Vernon, Ohio, passed away peacefully at 1:00 PM Thursday January 14, 2010 at her home. She was 49 years old. Mrs. Mitchell was born in July 15, 1960 in Painesville, OH to Arlie Booher Jr. and Patricia Jean Cutlip. A 1978 graduate of Badger High School, Teresa went on to marry Gary L. Mitchell on August 15, 1981, together they shared 28 years of marriage. Teresa had been a homemaker but she always referred to herself as a "Domestic Engineer". She enjoyed both vegetable and flower gardening, sewing, traveling to many garage sales and auctions. But most of all, she loved to spend time with her family and friends. Mrs. Mitchell is survived by her husband Gary; her brother James Cutlip and his wife Sharon of Vernon, OH; her three sisters Tina Booher of Farmdale, OH, Heather Bowser and her husband Michael of Kinsman, OH, and by Michelle Younger of Marlin, TX; her stepfather Dewey Cutlip and his wife Wanda of Burghill, OH; her stepmother Barb Booher of Rosebud, TX; and by her nephews and nieces: Michael Thorn Jr., Brandon, Brent, and Brandy Cutlip, Audrey and Hannah Bowser, Trey and Katlyan Younger, and Andy Shingledecker and Christy Wishart. She was preceded in death by her parents. Calling hours will be held Sunday afternoon at Lane Funeral Homes Madasz Chapel, Brookfield, Ohio from 3-5 PM. Funeral Services will be held Monday at 11:00AM at the funeral home with the Rev. Bill Carter, as pastor. Burial will be at West View Cemetery in Vernon, OH.
