Teresa Kasula

Teresa Kasula, 89, passed away Tuesday morning, January 5, 2016 at her home in Brookfield, OH surrounded by her family. Teresa was born on November 28, 1926 in Ferdonia, PA a daughter to the late Peter and Theresa (Bayuk) Resek. She was a proud homemaker raising 10 children with her husband John Kasula, whom she married on November 24, 1945. She later found employment at Valley View and Packard Electric until she retired. She enjoyed baking, especially pastries and nut rolls; canning; and was a great seamstress. She also had a love for animals, especially her Pomeranian Muffy. She will be deeply missed by her loving children, Katherine (Thomas) Rogerson of Philadelphia, PA, Cynthia (Steve) Buila of Cortland, OH, John (Bob Kronenberg) Atlantis, FL, Linda Laskowitz of of Southern Pines, NC, Marilyn Vendemia of Pinehurst, NC, Mark Kasula of Brookfield, OH, Carolyn (Jerry) Dobrozdrabiv of Clark, PA, Michael (Denise) Kasula of Hubbard, OH, Teresa Santell of Pittsburgh, PA, and Peter (Diane) Kasula of Hubbard, OH; 17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; her brother John (Grace) Resek of Slippery Rock, PA; and her sister Christina Gray of Beaver, PA. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Kasula who passed away on January 26, 1999; two brothers, Peter Resek and Frances Rudolph Resek; and her sister Mary Camerlengo. A private service will be held of Teresa at a later date. Interment will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery in Hermitage, PA.
