Terrance D White

Terrance D. "Terry" White, age 63, of Bazetta Township, died at 7:10 pm Sunday, June 13, 2010, at his home following a short illness. He was born November 3, 1946 in Warren the son of the late Samuel White and the late Mary (Sandor) Alfrey. Terry had worked for Van Huffel Sheet and Tube as a crane operator for 21 years; then, worked as a truck driver for 24 years for Statewide Trucking and Nick Strimbu Trucking. Terry loved spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He was a devoted father and a Christian man, who worked with all his heart and never stopped giving. He was an avid camper with his wife, Nancy, and enjoyed camping at Indian Creek in Geneva, OH and in Florida. He also enjoyed bowling and golfing. He is survived by his wife, Nancy A. (Stroup) White, whom he married April 17, 1965; five children, Deborah L. White of Howland, Terrance D. (Denice) White II of Cortland, Cynthia L. (Richard) Chapman and Scott A. White both of Bazetta Twp. and Robert G. (Kristina) White of Cortland; twelve grandchildren, Amanda Long; Joshua and Jenna White; Jessica Kulik; Jordyn, Tyler, Zachary, Brendan and Haylie White; Shailynn Snyder and Lucia and Ayriana Cherry; 8 brothers, Charlie "Bud" White of Arizona, Harlan "Moe" (Roberta) White of Rock Creek, Robert "Bill" (Sandra) White of Madison, OH, Brian White of Painesville, Sam (Donna) White of Cortland, Darrel (Faith) White of Southington and Randy (Becky) Alfrey and Ray Alfrey both of Warren and one sister, Sheila Alfrey of Warren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. One brother, Samuel White and one sister, Vicki Robison both preceded him in death. Arrangements are being handled by Roberts-Clark Funeral Chapel in Warren, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral services will be at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 17, 2010, with Pastor James E. Douglas, Jr. officiating. Burial will be at Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna.
