A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, July 27th at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Mineral Ridge Chapel for Terry Lee Worrell, Sr., 67, of Niles, who passed away Tuesday afternoon July 21, 2015. He was born September 13, 1947 in Woodsfield, Ohio, a son of George Worrell, Sr. and Mary (Brown) Bartlett. Terry enlisted in the United States Army in 1966 and was honorably discharged in 1974. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and received numerous medals: two Purple Hearts, two Bronze Stars, an Air Medal, and many others. Terry married Clara Faye (Sawtelle) Henderson in 1968. They divorced in 1975, but remained life-long best friends. Terry worked as a welder and an overhead crane operator for the majority of his life. He enjoyed woodworking, Harley Davidson Motorcylces, traveling (especially The South), the military, and he loved his family. Terry is survived by his mother, Mary Bartlett, of Niles; his three children, Angel (Tim) Hilton, of McDonald, Tricia (Jason) Worrell, of Boardman, and Terry Lee (Lorie) Worrell, Jr., of Girard; his three brothers, George I. Worrell, Jr., James Worrell, and Raymond Worrell; his sister, Peggy Wheeler; his 16 grandchildren; and his 3 great-grandchildren. In addition to his father, Terry was proceeded in death by his two brothers, William K. Worrell, Sr., and Jeffrey "Pete" Scott. Family and friends may call from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sunday, July26th at the Lane Family Funeral Home Mineral Ridge Chapel where the funeral service will be held on Monday, July 27th at 10:00 am.
