Thelma P. Criss

Funeral services will be 2 PM Monday at Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Thelma P. Criss, formerly of Youngstown, who passed away Friday morning at Autumn Hills. Thelma was born August 22, 1915 in Salem, a daughter of the late Fred and Elva (Whiteleather) Porter. She retired from Packard Electric after 25 years. She was a member of the Disciples Christian Church in Boardman. Thelma was an avid card player and loved going to horse races. She also enjoyed playing bingo. She is survived by her daughter Carol Boyes of Niles; a sister: Marie Hamilton of North Jackson, a brother Fred Porter of St. Petersburg, FL; a granddaughter Linda (William) Spier of Minerva; two grandsons, her caregiver Raymond Diana Jr. of Niles and Kenneth Reeder Jr. of Youngstown; a great grandson Alex; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Thelma is preceded in death by her son Kenneth Reeder and a sister Virginia Freed. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Disciples Christian Church, 565 Boardman Canfield Rd, Boardman, OH 44512, in Thelma's name. Friends may call from 1 PM until 2 PM Monday at Lane Funeral Home prior to the funeral services.
