Theodore L. Duke, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 11am Tuesday in the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Theodore L. Duke, Jr., 74, who died early Friday morning at the Hospice House in Poland. He was born February 1, 1935 in Tulsa, OK, the son of Theodore L. and Nancy (Clem) Duke, Sr. He worked as a general foreman for General Motors Lordstown for 32 years before retiring in 1988. He enjoyed camping, classic cars especially his 1948 Chevy, watching Nascar, and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, the former Mildred A. Rowan; a daughter Renee C. Duke of Austintown; two stepchildren, Barbara Mitchell of Cleveland and David Poling of Bristolville; and two sisters, Shirley Lovett of Flint, MI and Sally Nelson of Bay City, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends may call from 6-8pm Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Hospice House in Ted’s memory.
