Theodore Mcarthur Wyland

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Sunday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Theodore McArthur Wyland who passed away early Friday morning at his home. Ted was born March 19, 1942 in Altoona, PA. The son of Arthur and Ethel (Woomer) Wyland. A U.S. Army veteran, he was a self-employed dental technician for over 37 years. He was a member of the VFW in Niles, an AMVETS life member, The Army Navy Union # 252 in Niles, and the Masonic Lodge #462 in Newton Falls. Ted was also a life member of the American Motorcyclist Association. Besides his parents of Altoona, PA, Ted leaves a son Timothy Wyland of Warren and two step-children: Lawrence Weaver of Altoona, and Darla Weaver of Niles, OH. Ted also leaves five sisters: Kay Biddle of Plant City, FL, Matilda Wyland of Roaring Springs, PA, Janie (Don) Myers of Roaring Springs, Sally (Jim) Eiker of East Freedom, PA, Polly (Dale) Hoover of Roaring Springs, and three brothers: Ken (Yvonne) Wyland of Pine Bush, NY, Gary Wyland of Roaring Springs, and Jack (Bev) Wyland of McKee, PA. He also leaves four grandchildren. Friends and family may call from 5-7 PM on Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Hospice of the Valley at 5190 Market St. Boardman, OH 44512.
