Theresa Elizabeth Evans

YOUNGSTOWN-There are no services or calling hours for Theresa E. Evans, 79, of Youngstown, who passed away at 3:36PM Wednesday, January 23, 2008 in Forum Health Northside Medical Center. Theresa was born February 7, 1928 in Youngstown, OH the daughter of the late Joseph M and Margaruite (Welsch) Hughes. Theresa retired as a medical bookkeeper with Stodemeyers in Florida and most recently was a homemaker. Theresa enjoyed doing crafts. Theresa is survived by her husband of 61 years Edward C. Evans, whom she married April 29, 1946; three children Suann Holt of Elmore, OH; Thomas E. (Bonnie) of Austintown; and Timothy E. (Rita) also of Austintown; a sister Mary Grace Ragan of Kissimmee; five grandchildren; and fifteen great grandchildren. Besides her parents, Theresa was preceded in death by a granddaughter Tracey Evans; a son-in-law Jack Holt; two brothers John R., and Martin J. Hughes; and three sisters Rosemary Wilson, Edna Robison, and Eleanor Hughes. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to West Side Baptist Church 304 Matta Ave Youngstown, OH 44509.
