Thomas A. Necaster

Thomas A. NeCaster, 72, passed away at St. Elizabeth Hospital on Wednesday, October 7, 2015. He was born on October 29, 1942 in Youngstown, OH, son to the late Thomas NeCaster and Virginia Santori. Tom served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War era. After his honorable discharge, Tom worked for U.S. Steel and later for Tamco Distributors. Tom enjoyed collecting war time memorabilia. He was also very proud of his service and was a member of several veteran organizations. He was a member of the American Legion Lake Milton Post 888, the National Association for Uniformed Services, and the Italian American War Veterans. Tom also was proud of his Italian heritage and was a member of the Sons of Italy. Left to mourn Tom's passing are his step-children; Candy (Lee) Little of Bowling Green, KY; Mitch Behon of Warren; Chuck Behon of Austintown; Jim (Wendy) Behon of Lordstown; Missy (Mark Weimer) Behon of North Jackson; and 10 grandchildren: Michael, Melanie, Jessica, Autumn, Ryan, James, Alex, Nathan, Emily and James W. Thomas is preceded in death by his wife of 22 years, Sandra L. (Humberston) NeCaster, and his parents. The family will receive friends from 11AM-12PM on Saturday, October 10 at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, 5797 Mahoning Ave. A memorial service will follow at 12PM.
