Thomas B. Craig Vienna, OH, died Monday morning at Trumbull Memorial hospital in Warren, OH. He was 97 years old. Mr. Craig was born in Warren, OH on December 22, 1912, a son of Herbert and Ruth (Beach) Craig. He was a graduate of Harding High School and went on to purchase Vienna Hardware in 1947, which he owned and operated for more than sixty-one years until his retirement in December of 2008. Mr. Craig was a lifetime member of the Vienna Untied Methodist Church, where he had enjoyed participating in the church bowling group several nights a week at McKinley Lanes. He was also a 70 year member of the Masonic Lodge #529 in Cortland, OH. He is survived by his son Clifford Craig and his wife Analee of Liberty, OH; his step-daughter Mary Firzlaff of Kent OH; his brother Herbert Craig and his wife Lois of Middlefield, OH; three grandsons Bradley Craig, Mark Masterson, and Brent Masterson; and two great-granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 49 years Vera (Tidd) Craig in 2003, and by his daughter Carolyn Masterson in 1985. Calling hours will be held on Monday evening December 28, 2009 at the Lane Funeral Homes, Madasz Chapel Brookfield, Ohio, from 7-9:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held at Vienna United Methodist Church on Tuesday beginning at 10:00AM with Rev. Ruth Roth, officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Warren, OH.
