Thomas C. Iatonna

Services will be held on Saturday, February 23, at 2:00 p.m. at Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Thomas C. Iatonna of 4638 Pine Grove Avenue Austintown who passed away at his residence on Thursday. He was born on October 20, 1934 in New Castle, PA., the son of Carmen “Charles” and Mary(Colalucca)Iatonna. He was a Meterman A for Ohio Edison for 42 years retiring in 1996. He was a lifetime member of the N.R.A. and was a loyal Pittsburgh Steelers fan who enjoyed hunting and motorcycle riding. He is survived by his wife Penny Wertman, whom he married on November 12, 1960, sons Thomas C. Iatonna of Ft. Lauderdale FL., Jeffrey L. (Kim) Iatonna of Columbus, OH., Deena Iatonna (Howard) Barber of Canton OH., sisters Jane (Guy) Troggio of New Castle, PA., Ginger (John) Smiley of Coral Springs, FL., and he was the loving Papa of Nate D. and Wes T. Barber. He is preceded in death by his parents. Friends may call from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the animal charity of one’s choice.
