Thomas E. Hilty

Warren- Funeral services will be held 7 PM Friday at the Lane Funeral Home-Mineral Ridge Chapel for Thomas E. Hilty, age 57 formerly of Brentwood Ave, Niles who died Sunday at his home. Tom was born Oct. 23, 1952 in Warren and was the son of the late Kenneth and Dorothy (Shepherd) Hilty. He was on disability from Northstar Steel where he had been employed. He had served in the U.S. Army and was a graduate of Niles McKinley High School. Tom is survived by his son Thomas W. (Shari) Hilty of Tenn., four sisters, LaVerne Caya of Niles, Sandra (Bryan) Freeborn of Niles, Donna Villio of Niles, Lois Ash of Texas and two grandsons. He also leaves two special nieces Monique (Mark) Whittaker, Chantal Caya and a great niece Marquise Whittaker. He was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers and sisters; Kenneth Jr., David, Eric, Dorothy and Cleason. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-7 PM Friday prior to services.
