Thomas H. Andres, age 87, of Warren, died at 1:30 am Monday, February 15, 2010, at Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital. He was born July 22, 1922 in Niles the son of the late Giuseppe and Filomena (Ozza) Andres. He was a lifetime Trumbull county resident. Tom was a 1939 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. He served in th U.S. Army during World War II, assigned to campaigns in England, Normandy, Northern France, the Rhineland, Central Europe and Northern Appennines. Tom retired in 1994 as a supervisor at Fessler Machine Company in Sharon, Pa. Previously, he worked at Trumbull Supply and Mfg. as a supervisor and machinist. Tom enjoyed gardening and sports. He loved spending time with his family. He is survived by two sons, Thomas H. (Vickie) Andres Jr. of Columbus and Robert J. Andres of Warren; one daughter, Joyce A. Andres of Warren; one grandson, Todd (Julie) Callen of Niles and three great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. His wife, Priscilla Bostardi Andres, whom he married January 9, 1943, died in 1994. One daughter, Donna Callen and five sisters, Mary Battista, Emma Reigle, Rose Andres, Viola Sisek and Edith Andres also have preceded him in death. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 am Thursday, February 18, 2010 at the First Community Church of Leavittsburg, where a memorial service celebrating Tom's life will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday. Pastor John Jaros is officiating. Cremation was held and final resting place will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.
