Thomas J. Henik

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday in Holy Name Church for loving son, brother, and uncle, Thomas J. Henik, 56, of Canfield who passed away Thursday morning in St. Elizabeth Medical Center with his family at his side. Tom was born March 22, 1950 in Youngstown the son of Joseph A. and Martha A. (Fitzwilliams) Henik. He was a 1968 graduate of Fitch High School, a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and worked in the Maintenance Department for General Motors Lordstown for 36 years. Tom was a member of the church, an Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts, and enjoyed white water rafting. He leaves his parents of Canfield, two sisters; JoAnn (Ron) Hadley of Bradenton FL, and Monica (Frank) Napolitano of Boardman, and five nieces and nephews; Melissa Levi, Ron Hadley, and Joe Napolitano all of Florida, Frank Napolitano of Boardman and Natalie Napolitano of Columbus OH. In lieu of flowers the family requests material tributes take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society in Tom’s name. Arrangements are by the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel.
