Thomas M. Klouse

Thomas "TK" M. Klouse of Masury, OH, died on Wednesday (11-04-2009) at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown, OH. He was 56 years old. Mr. Klouse was born January 31, 1953 in Chicago, IL a son of Walter & Lois (Hanson) Klouse. Tom was a 1971 graduate of Brookfield High School and had attended Youngstown State University. In 1977 he was the founder of TK Auto Body in Masury, OH which he sold in 1989, he continued his work there until 2007 as one of the areas best body repairmen. He had worked for Crown Ford in Warren in the Body Shop and was currently working at Advanced Auto Body as the General Manager. "TK" was an avid racer with both BMX Bikes as well as Motocross. He participated in many events and won many titles and trophies. He also had participated in several Billiard Tournaments and Bowling Leagues at Thorton Hall. He was a very active member of his community as a founding member of the Brookfield Rotary where he had been president twice, past President of the Brookfield Band Boosters, past President of the North East Ohio Auto Body Association, and was past President of the Shenango Valley Business Professionals. Tom was a proud member of the Brookfield United Methodist Church where he had been a lay speaker, Youth Group Leader, President of the Administrative Council, Member of the Board of Trustees, and had sang in the choir. Mr. Klouse is survived by his mother Lois of Brookfield; his fiancé Christine Byknish of Masury, OH; two sons, Matthew Klouse and his wife Brandy of Cuyahoga Falls, OH and Gregory Klouse of Niles, OH; his daughter Laura Klouse of Niles, OH; a brother Richard Klouse and his wife Tina of Charlotte, NC; and by his sister Barbara DeJute and her husband Robert of Tampa, FL. He was preceded in death by his father Walter F. Klouse on August 16, 1993 and his sister Susan M. Klouse on July 4, 1975. Calling hours will be held this evening Friday November 6, 2009 at Lane Funeral Homes Madasz Chapel, Brookfield, Ohio from 4-7 PM and one hour prior to the services which will be held Saturday November 7, 2009 at 11AM at the funeral home with Rev. Bill Johnson of Brookfield United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Brookfield Township Cemetery. The family suggests that contributions be made to the Brookfield United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
