Boardman- Funeral services will be held at 5 pm Wednesday at the Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel for Thomas Fedina who died Saturday at his residence. Tom was born December 31, 1949 in Youngstown, the son of Michael and Stella (Powlysn) Fedina and was a life long area resident. Tom retired in 2004 after 30 years from General Motors where he had been a welder for maintenance repair. He graduated in 1968 from Chaney High School then served his country in the Army during the Viet Nam War. Tom was a member of the Viet Nam Veterans and was also a member of the Disabled American Veterans. He is survived by his wife Joanne (Lippillo) whom he married June 2, 1973, daughters; Laura of Cuyahoga Falls, Karly of St. Petersburg, FL., Lisa of Chicago, IL., one sister Dorothy Barak of Avon. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters; June Jenkins and Patricia Bodak. Tom was an avid fisherman, bowler and enjoyed football. Although the last few years of his life he was unable to enjoy these hobbies. He loved his job at General Motors as a skilled tradesman and enjoyed meeting his retiree friends for breakfast on Wednesday's at Eat N Park. More than anything else Tom loved his family dearly. He was a devoted husband and father. It would be important to Tommy that his neighbors, friends, family and especially his sisters, Junie, Patty and Dot know how much he loved them. Family and friends may call from 4-7 pm Wednesday where military honors will be held at 7 pm.
