Thomas Ronald Baclawski

Thomas Ronald Baclawski, age 70 of Lake Milton, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 24, 2014 after a long illness. Tom was born in Akron, Ohio, on January 3, 1944 to the late Benjamin Bernard Baclawski and Isabel Eleanor Hrapow Balclawki. Tom leaves behind his wife of 48 years, Sandra Kay Weygandt Baclawski, four children, Thomas Andrew Baclawski of Lake Milton, David Michael Baclawski and wife Kristin Batary Baclawski of Medina, Anne Marie Baclawski of Charlotte, NC, Benjamin Paul Baclawski and wife Misty Lyons Baclawski of Canfield; seven grandchildren, Devon, Kyler, Brennan, Arielle, Nathan, Keegan, and Brady; one sister, Leona Marie Baclawski of Lake Milton. Tom graduated from the University of Akron with bachelors degrees in biology and engineering and a maters degree in civil engineering. Tom devoted over 30 years to the Ohio EPA in the drinking water division. He was a dedicated member of St. Mary and St. Joseph Catholic Church in Newton Falls. Tom enjoyed sharing his time after retirement between Lake Milton, Ohio and Melbourne Beach, FL. Tom loved his family unconditionally, enjoyed living life including fishing, tennis, working outdoors and helping neighbors and anyone who needed a hand. Tom's warm smile will remain in our hearts and memories forever. Funeral Mass will be held at Sts. Mary and Joseph Church in Newton Falls at 10:30 AM, Friday, November 28, 2014. Burial will follow at Vaughn Cemetery in Lake Milton. Family and friends may visit at the Lane Family Funeral Homes-Austintown Chapel on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 from 5-7 PM.
