Tilden "Jack" (Hillbilly) Sanson Jr.

Tilden "Jack" (Hillbilly) Sanson Jr., 80, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Boardman. He was born on February 6, 1936 in Fairmont, WV, son to the late Tilden Sr. and Opal (Stewart) Sanson. Jack was an East Fairmont High School graduate. He was a forklift operator for General Motors all the way until his retirement. He was also a member of the Austintown Fraternal Order of Eagles 3298. Jack loved to be outside and whether he was out in the garage or playing in the yard with his grandchildren, he enjoyed being in the company of family more than anything else. Jack is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Frances Sanson, whom he married on March 26, 1983. He will also be missed by his children, Cindy (Randy) Harris, Barbara (Jack) Barringer, Pam Granger, Lori (Tim) Wilks, Fran (Eric) Brunstetter, Rick Sanson, Debbie Logston, and Tilden "Jack" (Cassie) Sanson III, and countless grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Jack is preceded in death by his brothers, Thomas, Donald, and Dale Sanson. The family will receive friends from 4PM-7PM on Tuesday, April 12 at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, 5797 Mahoning Ave. Family will also receive friends on Wednesday, April 13 from 10AM-11AM and funeral services will follow at 11AM.
