Valerie Cornelius

AUSTINTOWN- Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 12th at 12:00 PM at the Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel for Valerie F. Cornelius of Redgate Lane in Austintown who passed away late Sunday afternoon at Shepherd of the Valley in Boardman where she was under Hospice Care. Valerie was born on June 6, 1928 in Niles, Ohio. Valerie was the daughter of Valentine and Alice (King) Graham. Valerie was of the Lutheran Faith and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, and she enjoyed playing bingo. Valerie was a homemaker. Valerie will be deeply missed by her children, Charles (Judith) Cornelius of Austintown, Marilyn (Gary) Lewis of Tampa, Fl, Gary Cornelius with whom she made her home, Martha Forgach of Boardman, and John Cornelius of Harrisburgh, Pa. Valerie also leaves eight grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren: Jeanine (Dave) Gesacion, Charles Treharne, Wendy (Patrick) Skarote, Gary (Kelly) Cornelius, Christopher Forgach, Joanne Forgach, Justin Cornelius, and Melissa Cornelius. Great grandchildren: D.J., Alex, Charles “Chaz”, Cody, and Cameron. Valerie was preceded in death by her husband Max Cornelius, three sisters, and two brothers. Family will receive friends from 5 until 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
