Vera Alice Guesman

Vera "Alice" Guesman, 65, of Warren and formerly of Albany, NY passed away Friday evening, Feb. 6, 2009 in Trumbull Memorial Hospital after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Born March 15, 1943 in Sharon, PA, she was the daughter of the late William B. and Vera (Jewell) Guesman. A 1961 graduate of Howland High School, Alice graduated from the Trumbull Memorial School of nursing in 1964 and worked as a Registered Nurse in the Albany, NY area for many years. She returned to Warren from NY in 2003. Alice loved to cook and was an avid baseball and football fan. She was of the Catholic faith. Alice will be dearly missed by her siblings, W. Benjamin Guesman of Howland Twp., Ruth I. Keifer also of Howland Twp, and Lora Jane (Alex) Herman of Union, KY. She was preceded in death by her parents and by a brother William B. Guesman. The Rev. Ronald Spore will conduct a funeral service Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2009 at 11AM in the chapel at the Crown Hill Burial Park where family and friends may visit for one hour prior to the funeral service. Burial will follow at the cemetery. The family has entrusted arrangements to the Roberts-Clark Funeral Chapel.
