Verna M. Baluck

Warren - Vera M. Lowe-Baluck passed away Saturday January 24, 2009 at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren. She was 86 Years old. Vera was born on April 5th, 1922 in Sharon, PA the daughter of Roy and Lillian (McArther) Parker. She married Richard E. Baluck on December 30th, 1979 and together they shared thirteen years of marriage. Vera had been the former owner and operator of Lowes Catering in Warren. In her spare time she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and enjoying her favorite flowers Daisy's and African Violets. Vera is survived by her son James R. Meyer Sr. and his wife Sherry; her daughter Jane Heckathorn and her husband "Tiny" all of Warren, OH; eight grandchildren Todd, Rodd, and Jim Meyer Jr., Ginger Miller, Bob Douglas, Scott Heckathorn, Connie Smith, and Nancy Blascak; twenty great-grandchildren; and two sisters Lillian Tomko of Atlanta, GA and Agnes Morgan of Niles, OH. She was preceded in death by a brother, three sisters, and her grandson. Calling hours will be held Tuesday January 27, 2009, from 4-7 PM at the Roberts-Clark Funeral Chapel in Warren, Ohio. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00PM at the funeral home with Rev. Rodd Meyer officiating. As an expression of sympathy, the family suggests contributions can be made to the Howland Glen Church.
