A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am Friday in St. Christine Church, for Vincent Eugene Billock Jr., 74, of Canfield who passed away Wednesday morning at his home. Vincent was born November 15, 1931 in Youngstown the son of Vincent E. Sr. and Mary Edna (Code) Billock and was a life long area resident. He worked as a Pressman for the Youngstown Vindicator from 1947 until 1993, and continued to work part time until 2001. Vince was an Army veteran serving from 1953 until 1955 during the Korean War. He was a member of the church, a member of the Pressman Union and the past president of the Printing Pressman and Associates Union. Vince leaves his wife the former Margaret Joseph whom he married October 11, 1958 , three children; Vincent (Bambi) Billock of Dayton, Gary Billock of Hobart, ID., and Lanea Billock of Strongsville, four grandchildren; Amber, Rachael and Vincent Matthew Billock and Caleb Kusmider, as well as one brother Ronald Billock of Canfield and one sister; Margaret Cockman of Boardman. One sister Rita McCracken preceded Vincent in death. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are by the Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests material contributions take the form of donations to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market St., Boardman, OH 44512.
