Violet Leota Parker Frank

Violet Leota Parker Frank, 82 of Cortland, died Tuesday afternoon, March 20, 2007 at 1:15PM at Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital. Born May 8, 1924 in Harrison PA, Violet was the daughter of the late LaVern and Marie (Johnson) Bowser. A Warren area resident most of her life, Violet was a member of the Warren Baptist Temple since 1964 and enjoyed singing in church choir. She had been previously employed by Hillside Hospital where she worked in housekeeping for 10 years. Violet was also a homemaker. She will be dearly missed by her son, William E. Parker of Warren, a stepson, 'Cork' and his wife Nancy Frank of Kent, Washington, grandsons, Joseph E. Parker and Michael Parker, great grandchildren, Joseph, Robert and Kayla Parker, and by a sister Rosetta Mae Crusan of Franklin, PA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Frank, a son, Ira L. Parker in July of 1996, a granddaughter Barbara Parker Kurtz, a sister Helen Irene Becki, and David LaVern Bowser. Calling hours will be held Friday, March 23, 2007 from 6 to 8PM at the Roberts Clark Funeral Chapel. The Rev. James Dittmar will conduct a funeral service Saturday, March 24, 2007 at 10AM at the funeral home. Burial will be held in the Crown Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Violets memory to the Warren Baptist Temple at 2093 Ewalt Ave. Warren, OH 44483.
