Virginia M. Holbrook

Virginia M. Holbrook, of Niles, passed away Wednesday morning at St. Joseph Medical Center. Virginia was born January 4, 1927 in Portsmouth, OH a daughter of the late Edgar and Stella (Johnson) Lykins. A homemaker, Virginia loved to shop. Her husband, Willard Holbrook, whom she married June 21, 1947, passed away March 16, 2000. She will be sadly missed by her children: Linda (Gary) Johnson of Niles, Gary (Donna) Holbrook of Cortland and Daryl (Debbie) Holbrook of Mineral Ridge; two brothers Edgar Lykins of Niles and Donald Lykins of Vienna; fourteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, Virginia is preceded in death by a son Larry Holbrook. Funeral services will be at 3 pm Saturday at the Lane Family Funeral Home Mineral Ridge Chapel, where friends may call from 1 pm until 3 pm.
