Virginia Mcnab

Funeral services will be held at 10am Saturday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Virginia McNab, 88, who died Wednesday morning at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Youngstown. She was born June 9, 1921 in Youngstown, a daughter of Arthur L. and Olga S. (Anderson) Wright, and she resided in this area all of her life. She was a 1939 graduate of Rayen High School and she spent her adult life as a homemaker raising and caring for her family. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Youngstown. She was also a member of the Order of DeMolay Mothers Club, and she enjoyed playing the organ and being with her family and friends. Virginia was a kind and loving lady and she will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. She married John A. McNab May 27, 1947 and he preceded her in death June 20, 1991. She is survived by two sons; William R. (Joyce) McNab of Poland and John A. (Roberta) McNab of Austintown; and a granddaughter, Kelly (Nate Riegler) McNab of Chicago. Besides her husband she was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Lois Lipp. Friends may call from 5-8pm Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Paisley House in Virginia’s memory.
