Virginia Mitchell

Virginia “Ginny” Mitchell of 2344 Bell Wick Rd., Hubbard, Ohio, died on Wednesday (5-16-2007) in the Emergency Room at Sharon Regional Hospital. She was 61. Mrs. Mitchell was born in Sharon, PA on February 10, 1946, a daughter of John and Grace (McPherson) Sagenich. A 1964 graduate from Sharon High School, Ginny worked for over 22 years in the Billing Dept. at Sharon Regional Hospital. She attended the First Free Methodist Church, Canfield, OH, and she was a member of the Red Hat Society, Youngstown, OH. In her spare time, she enjoyed quilting, crafts, going to car shows, and hanging out with her grandkids. Survivors include: her husband, William “Ken” Mitchell, whom she married July 31, 1988; her children, Natalie (Darrin) Byers, Toano, VA, Todd (fiancé-Lori) Luchette, Santa Clara, CA, Nadine (Mark) Williams, Sharon, PA, and Ivone (Sherry) Luchette, Springfield, MO; her step-children, Debra Mitchell, Youngstown, OH, Diann Coy, Newton Falls, OH, and Kenneth Mitchell, Lake Milton, OH; her brother, John (Dorothy) Sagenich, Hermitage, PA; her sisters, Martha (Ralph) Williams, West Middlesex, PA, Mary Ann (Bob) Smith, Hartford, OH, Betty Allen, Champion, OH, Judy (Richard) Cheza, Brookfield, OH, Patricia DeBlase, Sharon, PA, and Sherry (Dave) Nehlen, Brookfield, OH; her grandchildren, Sara, Shannon, Jenna, Samantha, Sydnee, Jonathon, and Jordan; her step-grandchildren, Tonya, Hailey, and Tony; and her step-great-grandchildren, Logan, Jayden, and Kaylin. She was preceded in death by her parents; by her sister, Barbara Carnino; and by her brothers-in-law, Conny Allen & Iggy DeBlase. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday (5-21-2007) at the Madasz Funeral Chapel, Brookfield. Calling hours will be Sunday from 4-7 PM. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hermitage, PA. As an expression of sympathy, the family suggests contributions can be made to the American Kidney Foundation.
